POSITION: Senior Salesperson
LOCATION: San Francisco Bay Area
REPONSIBILITIES: The employee’s primary responsibility will be to grow New Leaf’s business through new accounts, existing business and new partnerships. They will be required to handle all customer related support, which includes: basic account management, price negotiations and building key relationships with printers, designers, end-users and paper mills. The person will also be responsible for business development opportunities targeting existing customers and new businesses throughout the Bay Area. The employee must embrace the company’s mission and work with New Leaf’s partner organizations to expand environmental and business partnerships. The ideal candidate is a savvy sales person, organized account manager and creative businessperson.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years experience selling in the paper or printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of paper, printing and the Bay Area market.
- Computer proficiency with contact management, email and Excel.
- Excellent reputation within the industry with good recommendations.
- Comfortable and enthusiastic on the phone with both customers and vendors.
- Negotiating skills and experience with corporate strategic is a bonus.
- Commitment to the environment and socially responsible business is one more plus.
- Friendly attitude under pressure, good perspective and sense of humor.
